Turtle food July 3, 2010 Queenie (Mary Esther, FL USA) We had been buying small containers of reptile food for our red-eared slider turtle. We had rescued him on our front porch when he was less than an inch long. He is now 10 inches in diameter and we had to get a pond for him. Then, one day out of the blue, another red-eared slider appeared on our patio, and we had no choice but to put him in the turtle pond with our original turtle. Those small containers of food were no longer economically feasible. Buying this reptile food has been a budget saver. Shipping was fast, and the packaging is perfect as it is resealable.
good quality March 2, 2010 Northern Gal (Alaska) These are the only food sticks that my turtle will eat. And they don't make the water all disgusting. I've actually started just piling them up on his dry dock and he eats them off of it at his liesure. They must be good if these are the only ones he'll touch!
a good value and nutritional product November 4, 2009 m w mccoy (tucson, arizona) If you have a large aquatic turtle, or a lot of aquatic turtles, this product is a necessity. It makes sense to buy in bulk, and this is a nutritional, balanced product. Use it as the base food, supplementing with fresh fruits and vegis and treats. If you have young aquatic turtles, I suggest the mini ReptiMin sticks until they get big enough to comfortably eat these regular sticks. Turtles can have big appetites, and the ReptiMin will fill them up. Buying it in the 2.5 lb package makes it easy to never run out.
Awesome! October 16, 2009 Marilyn Vazquez Great product with a great price and fast service. I will do buisness again with this seller.
Great basic diet for red eared slider turtles September 3, 2009 wjg3 (Acton, MA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
ReptoMin food sticks is what I've been feeding my two red eared slider turtles since acquiring them two years ago. They are healthy and always eager for more sticks. It's kind of fun having them take a stick right from between my fingers though you don't want to get nipped. I briefly tried a competitive food when my local pet stores stopped carrying ReptoMin. The other brand smelled fishy which made the water smell fishy, I couldn't hand feed the pellets, and it seemed the turtles ate less too. Now I buy in bulk (2.5 lb packages) on line.
