This is an immense resource for any beginning marine aquarist. It is practically essential to purchase this before beginning any of your purchases for the aquarium itself. This can help ensure success from the beginning of your tank and for years to come a very thorough beginner's resource. If you are an advance aquarist this is a handy guide, though there may be more advanced manuals that would suit your tastes better.

This book will serve as a great start in learning the basics of setting up a saltwater aquarium. However the book left me with wanting to know more. After reading this book did not feel I had all the necessary knowledge to start my tank.
